Telishia “TJ” Johnson is a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist Associate and trusted guide for individuals and couples seeking deeper connection, emotional clarity, and meaningful change. She is supervised by Dana Lewin, LMFT-S in Texas and Amy Zoloth, LMHC in Washington, and works with couples and clients navigating relationship challenges, life transitions, and career stress.

At the heart of TJ’s work is the belief that healing doesn’t happen in isolation—it happens in relationship. As a Marriage and Family Therapist, she approaches growth through a relational lens, exploring how family systems, culture, and lived experiences shape patterns of connection, communication, and emotional regulation. Her work with couples and families often focuses on reducing conflict, rebuilding trust, strengthening communication, setting healthy boundaries, and creating practical tools that foster long-term change.

Clients describe therapy with TJ as warm, non-judgmental, and deeply grounding—a space where they can slow down, feel understood, rebuild self-esteem, and develop habits that support a more fulfilling life. Her writing reflects this same philosophy, blending science-backed insight with accessible, real-world application.

In addition to her clinical work, TJ brings decades of corporate leadership experience, having held senior roles such as Associate Director of Learning & Development, Senior Manager of Instructional Design, and Training Manager. Her background spans multiple industries, including military environments, mortgage banking, health insurance, and medical devices. This unique combination allows her to bridge emotional wellness with professional growth.

TJ understands firsthand that career advancement is about more than hard work—it’s about strategy, visibility, and alignment. Through coaching and consulting, she helps professionals strengthen their branding, prepare for interviews, and confidently position themselves for the next level.

When she’s not working with clients or writing, TJ enjoys getting lost in a good book, tending to her garden, spending time with family, and exploring new places through travel—practices that mirror her belief in intentional growth, curiosity, and creating space for restoration. Whether through therapy, writing, or career guidance, her mission remains the same: helping people move from feeling stuck to feeling empowered—personally, relationally, and professionally.
